Allocate the node when the build values Armour scaling more than the avoidance produced by its Evasion Rating.

Iron Reflexes
Iron Reflexes converts all Evasion Rating into Armour. The converted base value scales as Armour rather than Evasion, trading ordinary Evasion Rating avoidance for Armour's hit-size-dependent damage reduction.0.5.4d

What Iron Reflexes does
Current rulesIron Reflexes combines flat Armour and flat Evasion Rating as Armour, then applies Armour modifiers to the result. Increased or More Evasion Rating does not scale the converted portion because it is no longer Evasion. The character therefore loses the chance to Evade supplied by that Evasion Rating and gains Armour instead. Armour remains more effective against smaller Hits and does not mitigate damage over time by default.
- All base Evasion Rating is converted
- Flat Evasion Rating from equipment and other sources becomes flat Armour. This is regular stat conversion, so the original Evasion Rating is removed rather than retained alongside the Armour.
- Armour modifiers scale the converted amount
- After conversion, applicable increased and more Armour modifiers scale the combined flat Armour value. Evasion percentage modifiers do not scale the converted portion.
- Evasion Rating avoidance is exchanged
- The converted Evasion Rating no longer grants its ordinary chance to Evade. The Keystone is a defence trade rather than a free copy of both Armour and Evasion.
- Armour still follows Armour rules
- Armour's mitigation depends on the size of the Hit and is more effective against smaller Hits. Converting a large Evasion value does not turn Armour into a fixed percentage reduction.
- The granted Keystone does not stack
- The Knight-errant grants Iron Reflexes directly. Allocating the tree node while wearing the boots does not convert the same Evasion Rating a second time.

The Knight-errant
The Unique boots grant Iron Reflexes and contain both Armour and Evasion Rating, allowing their flat Evasion value to join the Armour calculation.
