Act 1

Aoife
Aoife is the Ritual quest contact in Caer Tarth. After the first endgame Ritual encounter, she begins the Rite of the Nameless and receives the Head of the King used to start its five-map effigy sequence.

Delwyn
Delwyn introduces Azmerian Wisps in the Hunting Grounds and can appear in endgame maps containing an Azmerian Wisp encounter. In the Glade during Interlude 3, he sells caster items and disenchants eligible items.

Finn
Finn is the gambling vendor in Clearfell Encampment and provides advice during Ritual encounters in the Hunting Grounds and Freythorn.

Lachlann
Lachlann is the lost soul encountered in the Cemetery of the Eternals. He starts and completes Sorrow Among Stones, which leads through the cemetery's three memorial tombs and the fight with Lachlann of Endless Lament.

Leitis
Leitis is rescued from the Executioner in Ogham Village and joins Clearfell Encampment. She is a quest contact for The Mad Wolf of Ogham and completes the Act 1 Trail of Corruption sequence.

Mortimer
Mortimer is a Clearfell guard associated with the historical Cracks in the Earth quest. In the current game he appears during Rise of the Abyssal but cannot be spoken to.

Renly
Renly is the weapon and armour vendor in Clearfell Encampment and the Refuge. He is also the Warrior's adoptive father and participates in several Act 1 quests.

The Hooded One
The Hooded One identifies every item in the player's inventory and refunds allocated passive skills for Gold during the campaign. He remains available in towns, but Doryani takes over these services in the hideout after the campaign.

Una
Una is the caster and jewellery vendor in Clearfell Encampment. She sells non-martial weapons and jewellery, disenchants items with rarity, and is the main contact for Secrets in the Dark and The Lost Lute.

Wounded Man
The Wounded Man is the first NPC encountered after character creation. Speaking to him on the Riverbank starts Reaching Clearfell and directs the player toward the Bloated Miller and Clearfell Encampment.
Act 2

Asala
Asala is the Sekhema of the Ardura, joins the player as an ally during major Act 2 encounters, and serves as the weapon and armour vendor in the Khari Bazaar during Interlude 2.

Balbala
After Balbala, the Traitor is defeated in Traitor's Passage, Balbala becomes the guide for the Trial of the Sekhemas. She explains the trial, its rooms, Honour, Sacred Water, and the route to Ascendancy.

Halani
Halani is the Water Goddess encountered in the Buried Shrines. After Azarian is defeated, she asks the player to end her suffering with the Everburning Cinders and leaves the Essence of Water.

Lurking Creature
The Lurking Creature is the main quest contact for Abyssal Power. It explains the Well of Souls and the Abyssal Commanders, directs the player through the quest objectives, and remains the narrative link to Kulemak.

Risu
Risu is the gambling vendor who joins the Ardura Caravan after she is rescued from Mawdun Mine. She sells unidentified equipment whose rarity is revealed after purchase.

Shambrin
Shambrin is the weapon and armour vendor who travels with the Ardura Caravan during Act 2.

Zarka
Zarka is the caster and jewellery vendor who travels with the Ardura Caravan. She sells non-martial weapons and jewellery, disenchants items with rarity, and completes several Act 2 quests.
Act 3

Alva
Alva is the Act 3 gambling vendor, accompanies the player through several Act 3 areas, and can be summoned for advice at points of interest. In the Ziggurat Refuge or a hideout, speaking to her lets the player switch to another unlocked hideout.

Atalui, Blood Priestess
Atalui, Blood Priestess is a historical NPC who sold weapons and armour in the Ziggurat Refuge and the player's hideout.

Cauldron Keeper
The Cauldron Keeper is the caster and trinket vendor in the Apex of Filth. The nearby Bubbling Respite accepts the three coloured Mushrooms found in the area and returns two Magic flasks with Quality.

Doryani
Doryani identifies items, refunds passive skills for Gold, sells Waystones, provides endgame quests, and runs the Doryani's Science Atlas Master missions. During Interlude 3, he also serves as a weapons vendor.

Gwendolyn Albright
Gwendolyn Albright is a random vendor found in the Jungle Ruins during Act 3.

Ketzuli, Architect of Time
Ketzuli, Architect of Time is a historical NPC who sold caster weapons, flasks, Charms, and Scrolls of Wisdom in the Ziggurat Refuge and the player's hideout.

Oswald
Oswald is the weapon and armour vendor in the Ziggurat Encampment. He is also a treasure hunter, an author of the Explorer's Guide to Utzaal, and the quest contact who unlocks the Reforging Bench.

Sebastian Carroway
Sebastian Carroway is a random vendor found in the Infested Barrens during Act 3. His older NPC lead describes martial weapon stock, while the newer current vendor roster classifies him as a random vendor.

Servi
Servi is the caster and jewellery vendor in the Ziggurat Encampment. She sells non-martial weapons and jewellery, disenchants items with rarity, and provides the reward for Tribal Vengeance.
Act 4

Ange
Ange manages the Currency Exchange and asynchronous item trading in Kingsmarch and the player's hideout. Completed trades are collected from her trade interfaces.

Freya Hartlin
Freya Hartlin is the captive at the center of Dark Mists. The player follows Captain Hartlin to Journey's End, obtains Verisium Ingots, has Dannig forge Verisium Spikes, and uses them to free her before the encounter continues.

Hinekora
Hinekora is the Karui Mother of Death. She is the final quest contact for Ngamahu's Test, Tasalio's Test, and Tawhoa's Test, and the central divine figure in the Trial of the Ancestors.

Kaimana
Kaimana is the Tribal Medicine reward contact. Bring him the Great White One's Shark Fin in Ngakanu or later in Kingsmarch to choose between Kaom's Lesson and Rakiata's Lesson.

Kanu
Kanu is an Act 4 sailing contact associated with the Karui voyage. Rhodri later takes over this travel role permanently as the campaign progresses.

Lorandis
Missionary Lorandis starts Utopia in Kingsmarch and directs the player to Arastas. His invitation is a trap: after the three Precursor Weapon pieces are found, he reveals the ambush that advances the quest.

Makoru
Makoru is an Act 4 captain and the access NPC for the Expedition pinnacle route. With The Triskelion Reforged, speak to him at the Ruins of Kingsmarch to travel to the Fallen Star and challenge The Aberration.

Marius
Servitor Marius sells caster weapons and jewellery in Arastas before the player finds all three Precursor Weapon pieces. His vendor service becomes unavailable after those pieces are found.

Matiki
Matiki is found imprisoned on one of the Act 4 islands. Rescuing him unlocks the route to the Eye of Hinekora, where he guides the player into the Trial of the Ancestors.

Navali
Navali interprets Hinekora's instructions and manages rewards during the Trial of the Ancestors. Speak to her between tournament steps and after the final victory to collect the associated quest reward.

Rhodri
Rhodri provides Act 4 island travel. He temporarily replaces Makoru while she is missing and later permanently takes over Kanu's sailing role.

Ruhaki
Ruhaki sells martial weapons in Ngakanu after Matiki is rescued. He disappears for the remainder of the game after The Excavation is cleared and Ngakanu becomes hostile.

Tavakai
Tavakai is the Karui chieftain who appears in Kingsmarch after Dark Mists and later in Ngakanu after Matiki is rescued. He is the completion contact for The Search.

Yama The White
Yama the White is a Trial of the Ancestors opponent and boss in the Halls of the Dead. Defeating Yama is a required tournament objective before the quest can be completed.
Interlude

Elder Madox
Elder Madox is the Delirium quest contact. In the Kriar Peaks he offers a one-per-character choice of one free Unique item. In endgame, rescuing him from the first Delirium encounter begins the route to the Withered Hollow and the Raven Trickster.

Hilda
Hilda provides gambling and Currency Exchange access during Interlude 3. In the Atlas, finding Hilda's Campsite starts her Great Beast missions and unlocks the Hilda's Hunting Atlas Master specialisation.

Jado
Jado is an Atlas Master whose Jado's Spycraft specialisation focuses on Anomaly maps. Defeating an Anomaly boss for the first time reveals him, and completing all four Anomaly maps unlocks all four skill rows.

Soul of the Ferryman
The Soul of the Ferryman appears in Holten during Interlude 1 and sells Greater Runes.

Torbik
Torbik is the caster and trinket vendor in the Khari Bazaar during Interlude 2.
Endgame

Dannig
Dannig sells weapons and armour in Kingsmarch and appears at the Ruins of Kingsmarch during the Expedition endgame. After receiving Journey to the East, he can exchange 60 unique rings for Loreweave.

Farrow
Farrow is the Runeseeker who leads the Runes of Aldur campaign and Expedition endgame storyline. He sells runes for Verisium, can sell Liquid Verisium after Feeling Lucky?, and performs the one-per-character Runeseeker's Call exchange.

Gwennen
Gwennen appears in Expedition encounters. In the current endgame storyline she is first encountered at the Tomb of Medved in the Atlas rather than in Kingsmarch.

Nameless Seer
The Nameless Seer appears in the Moment of Zen on the Atlas and offers a random selection of Unique items. The player may take one offered item for free, and its item level is determined by the area level.

Rog
Rog sells caster equipment and disenchants items in Kingsmarch. He also appears as an Expedition NPC in endgame encounters.

The Trialmaster
The Trialmaster runs the Trial of Chaos, refunds allocated Ascendancy passive points, and becomes an endgame boss in the Trialmaster's Tower.

Tujen
Tujen is the gambling vendor in Kingsmarch and also appears as an Expedition NPC in endgame encounters.

Zelina
Zelina is the weapon and armour vendor in the Ziggurat Refuge and the player's hideout.

Zolin
Zolin is the caster-supplies vendor in the Ziggurat Refuge and the player's hideout. He sells caster weapons, flasks, Charms, and Scrolls of Wisdom.
Other

Ailith
Ailith is the Breach quest contact. After the first Unstable Breach encounter, she moves to the Monastery of the Keepers and directs the Keepers of the Flame progression, including Breach Hive and Breach Fortress missions where the player protects her while she closes the Breach.

Tecrod
Tecrod is an Abyssal figure encountered at the Burning Monolith and the Origin Tower. His dialogue and appearances connect the Atlas storyline to Abyssal Power and the Origin Tower.
