Legacy of the Maji

Meet Aoife, defeat the King in the Mists, complete the five-map Rite of the Nameless, rebuild the effigy, and defeat the Bodach.

How it works

Complete a Ritual map and follow Aoife to Caer Tarth. Earn An Audience with the King, reveal the Crux of Nothingness, defeat the King in the Mists, and return his head to Aoife. Select five connected Atlas maps for the Rite of the Nameless, complete their Rituals, and recover all five effigy pieces. Reassemble and activate the effigy at Caer Tarth, perform the Rite, and defeat the Bodach.

Reach the King in the Mists

Ritual encounters reveal Caer Tarth and provide the item used to locate the King.

Meet Aoife

Complete every Ritual in a map, then speak to Aoife and travel to Caer Tarth.

Complete more Rituals

Continue Ritual encounters until the quest advances and Aoife provides An Audience with the King.

Reveal the Crux

Use An Audience with the King on the Atlas to reveal the Crux of Nothingness.

Defeat the King

Explore the Crux, defeat the King in the Mists, and take the Head of the King.

Complete the Rite of the Nameless

The King's head unlocks a five-map Ritual sequence that supplies the effigy pieces.

Return the Head of the King

Bring the head back to Aoife at Caer Tarth and place it on the effigy.

Select five maps

Use the effigy to select five connected Atlas maps for the Rite of the Nameless.

Complete the Rite maps

Finish the Ritual encounters in each selected map and collect the named effigy piece.

Recover all five pieces

Return the Tangled Torso, Mossy Arm, Frayed Cloth, Brittle Arm, and Ragged Cloth to the effigy.

Defeat the Bodach

The completed effigy opens the final Ritual pinnacle encounter.

Activate the effigy

Return to Caer Tarth after placing all five pieces and activate the completed figure.

Perform the Rite

Begin the Rite of the Nameless and enter the darkness opened by the effigy.

Defeat the Bodach

Complete the pinnacle Ritual encounter against the Bodach.

Return to Aoife

Travel back to Caer Tarth and speak to Aoife to complete the questline.
