Mastodon Badlands

Access and route

From The Ardura Caravan: Mastodon Badlands is the route to The Bone Pits and the campaign entrance to Lightless Passage. Start A Theft of Ivory after encountering the sandstorm at the Halani Gates.

1. Fossilised Memorial (Optional). Open the Bone Effigy chest for a Level 2 Uncut Support Gem.
2. The Bone Pits. Find the entrance and continue A Theft of Ivory toward the Mastodon Tusks.
3. Guaranteed Abyss (Optional). Complete the repeatable Abyss encounter to unlock The Well of Souls quest.
4. Lightless Passage (Optional). Follow The Well of Souls objective through the Abyss route.

Quest objectives

• A Theft of Ivory (Required): Search the badlands for the entrance to The Bone Pits. Next: Defeat Ekbab and Iktab in The Bone Pits and retrieve the Mastodon Tusks.
• The Well of Souls (Optional): Complete the guaranteed Abyss and find Lightless Passage. Landmark: Guaranteed Abyss. Next: Explore Lightless Passage and enter The Well of Souls.
