Keepers of the Flame

Stabilise Breaches, reach the Monastery of the Keepers, clear the Hiveborn stronghold, and use the Breachlord Sac to reach Xesht.

How it works

Meet Ailith during a Breach, stabilise the encounter, and travel to the Monastery of the Keepers. Grow the Wombgift at the Genesis Tree, stabilise five more Breaches, and use the quest Breachstone to reveal the Hiveborn stronghold. Defeat It That Was Esh and It That Was Tul, take the Breachlord Sac to the Dreamer, enter the Twisted Domain, and defeat Xesht, We That Are One.

Reach the Monastery

The opening Breach encounter introduces Ailith and the Genesis Tree.

Meet Ailith

Open and stabilise the Breach, defeat the Hiveborn, and speak to Ailith.

Travel to the Monastery

Follow Ailith to the Monastery of the Keepers, the Breach hub south of the Atlas start.

Grow the Wombgift

Take the Wombgift and place it in the Genesis Tree at the Monastery.

Take the Breach Tablet

Speak to Ailith after the Wombgift sequence and collect the quest Tablet.

Break the Hiveborn stronghold

Five stabilised Breaches lead to the quest Breachstone and the Hiveborn fortress.

Stabilise five Breaches

Complete five additional Breach encounters, then return to Ailith.

Reveal the Breach City

Take the quest Breachstone and use it to reveal the Hiveborn stronghold on the Atlas.

Protect Ailith

Burn the Hiveborn defences and defend Ailith through the stronghold encounters.

Defeat Esh and Tul

Reach the core of the Hive Colony and defeat It That Was Esh and It That Was Tul.

Open the Twisted Domain

The stronghold bosses provide the item used to access the Breach pinnacle encounter.

Take the Breachlord Sac

Pick up the Sac after the stronghold victory and return to the Monastery.

Give the Sac to the Dreamer

Place the Breachlord Sac in the Dreamer's chamber to open the Twisted Domain.

Enter the Twisted Domain

Travel through the portal and fight through the remaining Hiveborn.

Defeat Xesht

Complete the pinnacle encounter against Xesht, We That Are One, then return to the Monastery.
