Complete the opening Keepers of the Flame objectives with Ailith to reach the Genesis Tree in the Monastery of the Keepers. Breaches add Hiveblood directly to the Tree's stored resource and can provide Wombgifts. Choose the Wombgift that matches the reward family, allocate the matching womb tree, place the Wombgift, and press the button below it to spend the displayed Hiveblood and create the result. The reward family is deterministic, but the exact item and its odds are not fully published.
- The Atlas unlocked and the Monastery of the Keepers visible south of the starting area.
- Keepers of the Flame started by meeting Ailith during a Breach.
- At least one Wombgift and enough stored Hiveblood for the cost shown by the Genesis Tree.
Open and stabilise a Breach near the Monastery of the Keepers, defeat the Hiveborn, and speak to Ailith. Follow the Keepers of the Flame quest to the Monastery. The opening quest sequence asks you to place and grow a Wombgift at the Genesis Tree before Ailith gives you the quest Breach Tablet.
- Ailith was met during a stabilised Breach.
- The Monastery of the Keepers is accessible.
- The Genesis Tree can be opened inside the Monastery.

Complete Breach encounters and kill Hiveborn before the encounter ends. Hiveblood is awarded automatically at the end based on the Breach monsters killed and is stored at the Genesis Tree instead of appearing as an inventory item. The Tree can store up to 100,000 Hiveblood. Ordinary Wombgifts can appear at the end of Breaches or in Breach chests inside Hive Fortresses.
- The Breach encounter reached its reward state.
- Stored Hiveblood increased at the Genesis Tree.
- The intended Wombgift is in the character inventory.

The Wombgift fixes the broad result family: Lavish uses the Currency womb, Signet uses the Ring womb, Ornate uses the Amulet womb, Banded uses the Belt womb, and Revelatory uses the separate Breachstone womb. A full stack of 300 Breach Splinters creates a Revelatory Wombgift. Do not insert a jewellery Wombgift when the intended result is currency or a Breachstone.

- Signet, Ornate, or Banded Wombgift selected for the matching jewellery slot.
- Revelatory Wombgift selected only when the intended result is a Breachstone.

Currency, Ring, Amulet, and Belt each have their own passive tree. Allocate only the tree for the Wombgift being used and read the exact result conditions before birthing. Genesis Tree passives can be respecced without cost, so change the allocation before each intended craft. The Breachstone womb has no passive tree. Birthing Wombgifts unlocks additional nodes, while passive points are earned separately through the Breach questline, node unlocks, and Breach Atlas passives.
- The active passive tree matches the selected Wombgift.
- Every allocated result condition applies to the intended item.
- The displayed Wombgift and Hiveblood cost are correct before committing.

Place the Wombgift into its matching womb slot. The interface shows the Hiveblood required for that specific input. If the wrong gift or allocation is active, right-click the placed Wombgift to retrieve it before birthing. Higher-level Wombgifts can require more Hiveblood, so use the displayed cost rather than assuming every item of one family costs the same amount.
- The Wombgift was accepted by the matching womb.
- The displayed Hiveblood cost is affordable.
- The passive allocation was checked after placing the input.

Press the button below the placed Wombgift to consume it, spend the displayed Hiveblood, and create the item. Collect and inspect the birthed result before repeating. Since version 0.5.3, Ctrl-clicking the birth button enables a quick-use cursor for processing multiple Wombgifts, but each click still consumes an input and produces its own result.
- The intended Wombgift was consumed.
- The displayed Hiveblood cost was deducted from the stored total.
- The created item was collected and checked before another birth.

Exact outcome odds are not publishedThe current sources publish Wombgift families, passive effects, eligible bases, special modifier pools, and required levels, but not a complete probability distribution for every birthed result. A technical eligibility weight of 1 is not a one percent or guaranteed chance.
Hiveblood is stored, not carriedHiveblood goes directly to the Genesis Tree and has a 100,000 storage cap. It will not appear as a stack in the inventory, stash, or Currency Exchange.
The passive trees do not change the reward familyThe Wombgift selects currency, ring, amulet, belt, or Breachstone. Passive allocation changes possibilities inside the matching family and cannot turn one Wombgift into another family's output.
