Obtain Rog's Boat Charter, sail with Makoru, recover the Precursor weapon pieces across Act 4, reforge the weapon, follow the Hooded One to Ngakanu, defeat Tavakai in Heart of the Tribe, and return to Kingsmarch.

• The Boat Charter is obtained near the start and enables the voyage. It is a quest item, not the final completion reward.
• The current reviewed sources do not record a separate final item reward for completing The Search.

1. 1

   Obtain the Boat Charter

   Speak to Doryani and Alva in Kingsmarch, collect the Boat Charter from Rog, and give it to Makoru.

2. 2

   Recover the weapon pieces

   Follow the Act 4 route through Singing Caverns, Shrike Island, Solitary Confinement, and Volcanic Warrens to recover the Precursor weapon pieces.

3. 3

   Search Arastas and The Excavation

   Continue through Arastas and The Excavation, then defeat Torvian and Benedictus as the search advances.

4. 4

   Reforge the Precursor weapon

   Bring the recovered pieces together, follow Rhodri's instructions, and reforge the weapon.

5. 5

   Defeat Tavakai

   Travel to Ngakanu, enter Heart of the Tribe, defeat Tavakai, and allow Sin to treat the Hooded One.

6. 6

   Return to Kingsmarch

   Return to Kingsmarch and speak to the Hooded One to complete the quest.
