Campaign and repeat Baryas

3 rules
Balbala's Barya

Defeating Balbala, the Traitor during the Act 2 campaign grants the area level 22 quest Barya for the first one-floor run. It is returned after a failed attempt.

Djinn Barya

A regular Djinn Barya is used for repeat and later Ascendancy runs. Higher area levels record more floors and improve the available rewards.

Tooltip is decisive

Read the key before starting. The tooltip states the area level, number of trials, and whether completion can grant additional Ascendancy points to that character.

Starting a run

3 rules
Relic Altar

Insert the Barya in the Relic Altar, arrange the Relics, and confirm the setup. The Barya is not consumed until the Relics are confirmed.

Independent runs

Each character has an independent Trial of the Sekhemas run. Progress is not shared across characters on the account.

Floor structure

Each floor contains eight rooms. A four-floor Barya therefore records a maximum of 32 rooms before the final completion.
