What it does

Fracturing Orb selects one eligible modifier at random on a Rare item with at least four modifiers and permanently Fractures it. The fractured modifier cannot be removed, changed, or rerolled by a Divine Orb, while other eligible modifiers can still be crafted.

How to get and use it

5 steps
  1. Allocate Hidden Scars on the Atlas and run area level 75 or higher Cleansed content. Cleansed monsters can then drop Fracturing Orbs.
  2. The Immured Fury always drops a Fracturing Orb.
  3. Target a Rare non-Unique item that is not already Fractured and has at least four modifiers.
  4. Desecrated modifiers count toward the four-modifier requirement but cannot be Fractured. With exactly four modifiers including one Desecrated modifier, each of the three eligible modifiers has a 1 in 3 chance.
  5. Use the Fracturing reference to calculate the random selection before spending the Orb.
