Honour
Honour is the persistent survival resource used by the Trial of the Sekhemas. Reaching zero fails the run even when the character is still alive.- Starting maximum
- Life + Energy Shield + Runic Ward
- Mind Over Matter
- Also adds maximum Mana
- Default resistance cap
- 75%
- Exceptional resistance cap
- 90%
Maximum Honour
Starting Honour is calculated when the trial begins and can change during the run.
When gaining a level increases maximum Life, current and maximum Honour increase by the same amount.
A Boon that increases maximum Honour also adds the same amount of current Honour.
Reducing Honour loss
Honour Resistance reduces Honour lost from damage. Its default maximum is 75%, and increases to maximum Honour Resistance cannot take it above 90%.
Damage from nearby enemies causes up to 35% less Honour loss.
Damage fully absorbed by Runic Ward does not cause Honour loss.
Recovery, failure, and party play
Honour can be restored through the Merchant, Maraketh Shrines, fountains, and specific Boons. Afflictions can reduce or completely prevent recovery.
Honour persists between rooms. Reaching zero ends the trial even if the character still has Life.
A party shares one Honour pool. The instance owner selects rooms and makes reward decisions.
