Maximum Honour

Starting Honour is calculated when the trial begins and can change during the run.

3 rules
Starting formula

Maximum Honour starts as maximum Life plus maximum Energy Shield plus maximum Runic Ward. Maximum Mana is also included when the Mind Over Matter keystone is active.

Level increases

When gaining a level increases maximum Life, current and maximum Honour increase by the same amount.

Maximum Honour Boons

A Boon that increases maximum Honour also adds the same amount of current Honour.

Reducing Honour loss

3 rules
Honour Resistance

Honour Resistance reduces Honour lost from damage. Its default maximum is 75%, and increases to maximum Honour Resistance cannot take it above 90%.

Nearby enemies

Damage from nearby enemies causes up to 35% less Honour loss.

Runic Ward

Damage fully absorbed by Runic Ward does not cause Honour loss.

Recovery, failure, and party play

3 rules
Recovery

Honour can be restored through the Merchant, Maraketh Shrines, fountains, and specific Boons. Afflictions can reduce or completely prevent recovery.

Failure

Honour persists between rooms. Reaching zero ends the trial even if the character still has Life.

Party play

A party shares one Honour pool. The instance owner selects rooms and makes reward decisions.
