Overflow
Overflow allows a specified recovery source to raise Life, Mana, Energy Shield, or Runic Ward above its normal maximum. Current Life, Mana, and Energy Shield Overflow is capped at 150% of maximum. The effect does not increase the maximum resource itself.Catalog version 0.5.4d

What Overflow does
Current rulesCheck the exact recovery source named by the Skill or item. If that source can Overflow, it can keep recovering the matching resource above 100% until the applicable 150% cap. Other recovery sources cannot fill the overflowed portion unless their own wording also allows Overflow. A character with 1,000 maximum Life can hold up to 1,500 Life from valid Life Overflow.
- The current cap is 150%
- Life, Mana, and Energy Shield Overflow can recover the resource up to 1.5 times its maximum. With 1,000 maximum Mana, valid Overflow can raise current Mana to 1,500.
- Overflow does not raise the maximum
- A resource above its normal maximum has extra current resource, not a larger maximum. Percentage thresholds and effects based on maximum resource continue to use the unchanged maximum value.
- Permission belongs to a recovery source
- Overflow is not globally enabled merely because one Skill or item grants it. Life Remnants can Overflow Life, Uhtred's Chalice can let Mana recovery from flasks Overflow during its effect, and neither permission automatically applies to unrelated recovery.
- Ordinary recovery cannot fill the extra portion
- Once a resource is above maximum, recovery without its own Overflow permission cannot add to the overflowed portion. Use the exact permitted source to reach or refill the extra amount.
- Overflowed resources still count as Full
- A valid resource amount at or above its unchanged maximum satisfies the normal Full threshold. Reservation remains separate: a resource with a reserved portion is not made Full merely by filling all unreserved points.
- Each resource has separate permissions
- Life Overflow does not grant Mana Overflow, and Mana Overflow does not grant Energy Shield or Runic Ward Overflow. Read both the resource and recovery method named by the effect.
- The cap changed in 0.3.0
- Content Update 0.3.0 reduced the Life, Mana, and Energy Shield Overflow cap from twice maximum to 1.5 times maximum. Older guides or clips showing a 200% cap are outdated.

5 rules- Overflow applies only to the resource and recovery source named by the effect.
- The extra current resource does not increase maximum Life, Mana, Energy Shield, or Runic Ward.
- Ordinary recovery cannot fill the overflowed portion without its own Overflow permission.
- Current Life, Mana, and Energy Shield Overflow uses a 150% cap, not the historical 200% cap.
- Reservation and Overflow are separate mechanics.
