The Grand Expedition
Follow the Expedition ocean storyline from the Ruins of Kingsmarch through Medved, Vorana, Uhtred, Olroth, and the final fight against The Aberration.
How it works
Find the Ruins of Kingsmarch southeast of the Atlas start, then use Expedition Logbooks to reveal ocean areas and follow the faction-leader trail through Medved, Vorana, Uhtred, and Olroth. Runeforge Olroth's Shattered Triskelion into The Triskelion Reforged, speak to Makoru at the Ruins of Kingsmarch, travel to the Fallen Star, and defeat The Aberration. Defeating each boss in this questline grants Expedition Atlas passive points.

Start the ocean expedition
The questline begins at the Expedition hub and uses Logbooks to reveal its ocean areas.
Speak to the Expedition party
The Kalguurans ask you to sail into the ocean in search of Gwennen.
Use an Expedition Logbook
Consume a Logbook at an Expedition node on the Atlas to reveal an ocean biome and its islands.
Follow the revealed islands
Use the storyline Logbooks and connected islands to reach each faction leader in order.
Defeat the four faction leaders
Each faction leader advances the trail and contributes Expedition Atlas passive points.
Sprawling Jungle
Rescue Gwennen, open the Tomb of Medved, and defeat Medved, the Fallen Seer.
Mournful Cliffside
Continue to Vorana's tomb and defeat Vorana, Last to Fall.
Secluded Temple
Defeat Uhtred, the Stardrinker to continue the route toward the fallen Verisium star.
Obscure Island
Defeat Olroth, Origin of the Fall and obtain the Shattered Triskelion needed for the final route.
Open the Fallen Star
The final access chain turns Olroth's drop into the key used for The Aberration.
Shattered Triskelion
Take the questline drop from Olroth to the Verisium Anvil.
The Triskelion Reforged
Runeforge the Shattered Triskelion into the access key. This transformation does not cost Verisium.
Speak to Makoru
Return to the Ruins of Kingsmarch with the reforged key and ask Makoru to take you to the Fallen Star.
Enter the Fallen Star
Travel to the Verisium Crater and use The Triskelion Reforged to dispel the barrier.
Defeat The Aberration
Use the key at the Fallen Star, defeat the Expedition pinnacle boss, and collect the final questline Atlas passive points.
