Reforging Bench

The Reforging Bench destroys three qualifying items and creates one result. Essence recipes either upgrade a named family or reroll within the same tier pool.

Unlock and core rules

Complete Treasures of Utzaal in Act 3 and give The Hammer of Kamasa to Oswald to unlock the Reforging Bench in towns and hideouts. Its general equipment recipe requires three identified items with matching base type and rarity, while currencies such as Essences, Runes, Liquid Emotions, and Waystones use their own three-to-one recipes. The output rules depend on the recipe, so check the matching table before committing the inputs.

Equipment output

The result uses the lowest input item level. Modifiers, sockets, and quality are rerolled.

3 Lesser

Creates the Normal Essence from the same family.

3 Normal

Creates the Greater Essence from the same family.

3 Greater

Creates one random Greater Essence. It can be the same type.

3 Perfect

Creates one random Perfect Essence. It can be the same type.

There is no current Greater-to-Perfect Essence recipe. Random result weights are not published.
