What Immobilised does
Current rulesTreat Immobilised as a condition checked by other effects, not as one specific debuff. A target is Immobilised whenever an effect prevents it from moving. Pin is the important exception to the usual visual expectation: a Pinned target cannot move but may still perform actions. Freeze, Heavy Stun, and Electrocution also prevent actions under their own rules.
- Immobilised means unable to move
- The shared requirement is prevention of movement from one location to another.
- It does not always mean unable to act
- Pin makes a target Immobilised but does not normally prevent every action. Check the specific immobilising effect for its full restrictions.
- Several mechanics qualify
- Freeze, Pin, Heavy Stun, and Electrocution all make a target Immobilised.
- Most use buildup
- Most immobilising effects build toward a threshold. Reaching 100% applies the effect and resets that buildup.
- Related bonuses check the state
- Damage, Critical Hit Chance, and other bonuses against Immobilised enemies work while any qualifying immobilising effect is active.

4 rules- A movement Slow does not by itself make a target Immobilised. The target must be unable to move.
- Immobilised is not one debuff, so immunity must be checked against the actual effect that caused it.
- Bonuses against Immobilised enemies do not require one particular cause unless the bonus names that cause.
- Do not assume an Immobilised enemy cannot attack or cast. Pin normally allows actions.
