All of the wearer's Minions have Unholy Might while the body armour is equipped and active. The item also gives Minions 50% reduced maximum Life, which is a separate cost of using it.

Unholy Might
Unholy Might is a Buff that grants 30% of all applicable damage as extra Chaos Damage. It creates an additional Chaos portion and does not remove or convert the original damage.Catalog version 0.5.4d
No direct 0.5 patch change is linked to this page. The displayed values are current for catalog version 0.5.4d.
What Unholy Might does
Current rulesFor a Hit with 100 base Physical Damage and 50 base Fire Damage, ordinary Unholy Might adds 45 base Chaos Damage. Before later modifiers, the Hit has 100 Physical, 50 Fire, and 45 Chaos. This is Gain as Extra damage, not 30% More total damage, and Damage over Time does not gain an extra Chaos portion.
- The base Buff grants 30% as extra Chaos
- Unholy Might uses all applicable base Hit damage as its source. Physical, Fire, Cold, Lightning, and existing Chaos portions can contribute because the Buff says all damage rather than naming one source type.
- The original damage remains
- Gain as Extra creates another damage portion. It does not replace the Physical, Elemental, or Chaos damage used to calculate that portion. Regular Damage Conversion is the mechanic that replaces source damage.
- This is not a 30% More multiplier
- The extra portion is calculated from applicable base damage before increased and more damage modifiers. Because the new portion has the Chaos type and can face different scaling and resistance, the final damage increase is not always 30%.
- The gained portion scales as Chaos
- The extra portion benefits from modifiers that apply to Chaos Damage and other matching scopes. It does not retain source-only Physical, Fire, Cold, or Lightning scaling merely because one of those types supplied its base value.
- Damage over Time does not benefit
- Damage Gain applies to Hit damage. An existing Bleeding, Ignite, Poison, or other Damage over Time effect does not independently gain 30% of its damage as extra Chaos Damage.
- The Buff owner deals the extra damage
- Unholy Might on the player affects the player's applicable Hits. Unholy Might on a Minion affects that Minion's applicable Hits. Granting it to one recipient does not transfer that recipient's damage bonus to another character or Minion.
- Copies of Unholy Might do not add together
- Multiple sources provide the same named Buff rather than separate extra-Chaos packages. Buffs of the same type do not normally stack; the strongest applicable Unholy Might effect is used.
- Magnitude changes the 30% value
- Blackened Heart grants 4% increased Magnitude of Unholy Might Buffs you grant per 100 maximum Mana. At exactly 1,000 maximum Mana, that is 40% increased Magnitude, so a 30% Unholy Might Buff you grant becomes 42%.
- Continuous and timed sources end differently
- Vis Mortis grants Minions continuous Unholy Might while the item applies. Necromantic Conduit maintains it only while its Mana and Presence conditions are true. Kurgal's Leash creates a timed 15-second Buff when its Command condition occurs.
Current Unholy Might sources
5 casesWhen you Command a Minion from the supported Skill, you gain Unholy Might for 15 seconds and Minions from that supported Skill gain it for 15 seconds when Commanded. The support does not grant it to unrelated Minions.
Related: Kurgal's Leash, Command, Minion, DurationWhile the Lich is above the Low Mana threshold, the Lich and Allies in the Lich's Presence have Unholy Might. The passive also loses 5% of maximum Mana per second, so reaching 35% Mana or lower turns off the condition by default.
Related: Low Mana, Allies, Presence, Necromantic Conduit, LichThis Lich passive increases the Magnitude of Unholy Might Buffs you grant by 4% per 100 maximum Mana. It scales the Buff value rather than adding four percentage points to the 30% value for each 100 Mana.

7 rules- Unholy Might is Gain as Extra Chaos Damage, not regular Damage Conversion.
- The Buff does not independently add Chaos Damage to Damage over Time.
- Source-only damage modifiers do not scale the gained Chaos portion unless they also match another applicable scope.
- Unholy Might on a Minion does not grant Unholy Might to the player.
- Kurgal's Leash applies only to its supported Commandable Minion Skill and its named recipients.
- Necromantic Conduit stops applying to the Lich at Low Mana and to Allies outside the Lich's Presence.
- Multiple ordinary copies of the same named Buff do not add their 30% values together.
