Conditional
A Conditional Skill cannot be used until the condition written on that Skill is satisfied. The condition can be a resource threshold, a counter, a movement requirement, or another specific game state.Catalog version 0.5.4d

What Conditional does
Current rulesRead the Skill's own condition before planning how to activate it. Conditional is a gem tag, not one shared resource: Tempest Bell requires Combo, Hammer of the Gods requires maximum Glory, Charged Staff consumes Power Charges, Hit and Run requires movement, and Dauntless requires remaining stationary. Meeting one Skill's condition does not enable another Conditional Skill unless its wording says so.
- The Skill states its own condition
- Conditional means that a Skill has an additional usage requirement. The Skill description identifies the exact counter, resource, action, or state that must be satisfied before that Skill can be used.
- Conditional is not one resource
- The tag groups Skills with usage conditions, but it does not create a universal Conditional meter. Combo, Glory, Charges, movement distance, time spent stationary, and Volatility are separate examples with separate rules.
- Combo belongs to its weapon setup
- Combo is built by Striking enemies for Skills that use it. It falls off after a period without gaining Combo, can only be built with the same weapon as the Combo Skill, and is lost when that weapon is swapped away.
- Glory is tracked per Skill
- Each Glory Skill has its own generation method, requirement, and Glory total. Different Glory Skills gain and lose Glory separately, so filling one Skill does not fill every other Glory Skill.
- Glory decays after inactivity
- A Glory Skill loses 2 Glory per second if it has not gained Glory in the past 15 seconds. It normally cannot gain Glory while an instance of that Skill is active, with Banners as the stated exception.
- Recently means four seconds
- When a usage condition says that an action must have happened Recently, it checks the past 4 seconds. A Skill can instead state a different explicit time window, which overrides that keyword meaning.
- A condition can be added by a Support
- Some Supports make an otherwise ordinary Skill Conditional, such as requiring movement, stationary time, Combo, or Volatility. Each Support states which Skills it can modify and whether cooldowns or an existing usage condition make the Skill ineligible.
- Meeting the condition does not bypass other requirements
- A satisfied usage condition does not remove the Skill's weapon requirement, cost, cooldown, attribute requirement, or other explicit restrictions. All applicable requirements must be valid when the Skill is used.
- Consumption and reset rules are Skill-specific
- Some Conditional Skills consume Charges, Glory, Combo, or another resource when used. Others merely check a state or reset a counter. Do not assume every condition is consumed unless the Skill or Support says so.
Common usage conditions

5 rules- Conditional is a gem tag and classification, not one resource shared by every tagged Skill.
- The exact condition, generation method, threshold, decay, and consumption rule must be read from the Skill or Support that creates it.
- Meeting a usage condition does not bypass costs, cooldowns, weapon requirements, attributes, or other explicit restrictions.
- A Support that adds a condition can reject Skills with cooldowns or existing usage conditions when its own text says so.
- Combo and Glory are tracked through their own rules and should not be treated as interchangeable counters.
