Enfeeble

Enfeeble is a defensive Curse that makes affected targets deal less damage. The skill gem scales from 20% less damage at level 1 to 29% less damage at level 20 before Curse Magnitude and monster-rarity modifiers.

What Enfeeble does

Current rules

Directly cast Enfeeble applies after a 1.5-second delay and lasts from 6 to 7.4 seconds at gem levels 1 to 20. Magic monsters have 15% less Curse effect, Rare monsters 30% less, and Unique monsters 50% less, so a level 20 Enfeeble has 14.5% less-damage magnitude against a Unique target before other Magnitude modifiers.

Enfeeble reduces all damage dealt
The Curse makes the affected target deal less Damage. Its wording is not limited to Attacks, Spells, Hits, or one damage type, but it does not reduce non-damage effects such as movement, action speed, or Crowd Control duration.
Gem level raises the less-damage value
The Enfeeble skill gem starts at 20% less Damage, reaches 28% at level 18, and reaches 29% at level 20. Levels above 20 continue scaling according to the gem's level table.
Monster rarity reduces the Curse effect
After the gem and applicable increased Magnitude are determined, Magic monsters have 15% less Curse effect, Rare monsters 30% less, and Unique monsters 50% less. Boss calculations must use the Unique result rather than the full gem value.
Magnitude scales the stated reduction
Increased Curse Magnitude modifiers add together before separate less-effect modifiers. At level 20, 20% quality gives Enfeeble 10% increased Curse Magnitude, changing 29% to 31.9% before monster rarity or another less-effect modifier.
Direct casting has a 1.5-second delay
Casting Enfeeble places a Curse zone that applies after 1.5 seconds. Focused Curse gives the zone 50% less delay, reducing the ordinary delay to 0.75 seconds, while other modifiers can make activation slower.
Duration and radius scale with gem level
From gem level 1 to 20, base Curse duration rises from 6 to 7.4 seconds and radius rises from 1.5 to 3.1 metres. Duration and Area modifiers can change those values without changing Enfeeble's less-damage Magnitude.
Low-level gems have an enemy-level limit
A level 1 Enfeeble cannot apply above enemy level 20. The allowed level rises with gem level, reaches 78 at gem level 17, and the restriction is removed from gem level 18 onward.
The normal Curse limit still applies
A target can have one Curse by default. Enfeeble competes with other Curses unless the inflictor has additional Curse limit or an explicit exception. Marks are a separate family and do not normally consume this limit.
Hexproof suppresses Enfeeble
A Hexproof target can still have Enfeeble present but is Unaffected by its less-damage effect. An explicit modifier that lets your Curses affect Hexproof enemies is required for Enfeeble to reduce that target's damage.

Ways to apply and scale Enfeeble

7 cases
01
Direct skill gem

Cast Enfeeble on an area, wait for its activation delay, then use the gem's current level, quality, duration, radius, and enemy-level limit. It is obtained from a Tier 3 Uncut Skill Gem.

02
Focused Curse

Supported Curse zones erupt after 50% less delay, changing Enfeeble's ordinary 1.5-second delay to 0.75 seconds. The support has a 120% cost multiplier.

03
Heightened Curse

Supported Curses have 25% increased Magnitude. This increase adds to other increased Curse Magnitude, including Enfeeble quality, before separate less-effect modifiers.

Blasphemy

Socketed Enfeeble applies as an Aura around you and reserves 60 Spirit for that Curse. Blasphemy gives supported Curses 50% less Magnitude at level 1 and 41% less at level 20, trading effect strength for continuous nearby application.

05
Cursed Ground

Supported Enfeeble creates Cursed Ground and enemies are Cursed only while they remain within it. The support has a limit of two Cursed Ground areas.

Limits and exceptions

8 rules
  • Enfeeble reduces damage dealt; it does not Slow the target or lower its Accuracy unless another effect says so.
  • The tooltip value is not the final value against Magic, Rare, or Unique monsters.
  • Casting the skill does not make Enfeeble active until its Curse zone erupts.
  • A low-level Enfeeble can fail against an enemy above the gem's current level limit.
  • Blasphemy uses less Curse Magnitude and reserves Spirit per socketed Curse.
  • Cursed Ground only applies Enfeeble while the enemy remains inside an active supported area.
  • Hexproof suppresses the effect unless the inflictor has an explicit bypass.
  • Another Curse can replace or exclude Enfeeble when the target's Curse limit is already full.
