Explosive Rhythm
Explosive Rhythm is the stacking half of Redemption's Grenade cycle. The crossbow grants one stack after every two or three Grenade Skill uses, depending on its roll. Each stack grants 10% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate to Grenade Skills, and reaching 10 consumes every stack to grant Explosive Fervour for 10 seconds.Catalog version 0.5.4d

What Explosive Rhythm does
Current rulesA two-use Redemption needs 20 Grenade Skill uses to reach Explosive Fervour from zero; a three-use roll needs 30. Rhythm partly offsets Redemption's own 20% to 40% reduced Cooldown Recovery Rate while building. Two stacks cancel a 20% reduced roll and four stacks cancel a 40% reduced roll. The tenth stack is converted immediately, so the practical ramp ends at nine displayed stacks rather than leaving a permanent 100% increased recovery state.
- Redemption is the current source
- Explosive Rhythm is granted by Redemption, a Unique Trarthan Cannon introduced in Content Update 0.5.0. The item replaces ordinary ammunition use with a Grenade attack and builds its special cycle through Grenade Skill uses.
- The roll is one stack every two or three uses
- Redemption rolls one Explosive Rhythm after every two or three times you use a Grenade Skill. A two-use roll reaches each stack sooner and is the stronger roll for entering Explosive Fervour.
- The counter checks uses, not hits or kills
- The item modifier is written around times you use a Grenade Skill. It does not require the Grenade to hit, kill, critically strike, or wait until its explosion before that use can advance the counter.
- Each stack grants 10% increased Grenade cooldown recovery
- One stack gives 10% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate to Grenade Skills. Five stacks give 50% increased and nine stacks give 90% increased before Redemption's reduced recovery modifier and other applicable recovery modifiers are combined.
- Increased and reduced recovery combine additively
- Redemption also rolls 20% to 40% reduced Cooldown Recovery Rate. Subtract that value from Rhythm's 10% per stack to find the item's net increased or reduced recovery before any other sources. Two stacks break even against 20% reduced, while four break even against 40% reduced.
- Reaching 10 converts the whole stack
- When the tenth Explosive Rhythm is reached, Redemption removes all Explosive Rhythm and grants Explosive Fervour for 10 seconds. The tenth stack is a trigger threshold, not a lasting 100% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate state.
- Rhythm cannot rebuild during Fervour
- Explosive Fervour explicitly prevents gaining Explosive Rhythm. Grenade Skill uses during the 10-second Fervour window therefore do not begin the next Rhythm ramp. The next cycle starts from zero after Fervour ends.
- No separate Rhythm duration is stated
- The current Explosive Rhythm definition gives a maximum of 10 stacks but does not state a duration or a separate decay timer. Do not apply the four-second Recently window to Rhythm stacks; that window belongs to Fervour's distinct Grenade Skill attack-speed condition.
