Meta

A Support Gem modifies one skill when socketed into that skill in the Skills Panel. Compatibility, Support Category, attribute capacity, socket count, and any cost or reservation multiplier all matter before the support can apply.

A Trigger causes a skill to occur immediately when its stated condition is met. A Triggered skill has no attack or cast time for that activation, usually targets the cause of the Trigger, and does not count as a skill you used.

Energy is a resource generated and spent by certain Meta skills. Each Energy-generating skill keeps its own counter, separate from other Meta skills and completely separate from Energy Shield.

Monster Power is a value that represents an enemy's relative strength. Skills and resources use it so that one dangerous enemy can count more than one weak enemy.

A Spell is a skill with the Spell tag. Any base damage, Cast Time, and base Critical Hit Chance it lists come from the skill rather than the inherent damage, Attack Speed, or base Critical Hit Chance on a weapon.

An Attack is a skill with the Attack tag. It normally takes its base damage, attack speed, and base Critical Hit Chance from an equipped Martial Weapon, unless the skill states a different rule.

A Channelling skill continues one skill use while its input is held. Some build power for a release, while others repeatedly attack or apply effects during the channel.

A Persistent skill is toggled in the Skills Panel and remains active until disabled or until its reservation or other requirement can no longer be met. Persistent Buffs, Meta skills, and Reviving Minions often reserve Spirit.

Consume 3 Endurance Charges to Raise a Totem that conjures spirit warriors. Each warrior uses a socketed Mace Skill once, then disappears. Cannot use Channelling Skills or Skills with Cooldowns.

While active, gains Energy when your Energy Shield is damaged by Enemy Hits. Using the Invocation once sufficient Energy is gathered will consume the Energy to trigger socketed Spells, and can trigger them multiple times if it has enough Energy.

Turn socketed Curse skills into vile Auras, applying their effects to all nearby enemies.

Applies a socketed Mark Skill to a nearby unmarked Enemy every few seconds. Consuming socketed Marks will cause them to be reapplied to an unmarked Enemy. This reapplication can happen at most once every few seconds.

While active, gains Energy when you Block and triggers socketed Spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when one of your Charms is used and triggers socketed Spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when you Critically Hit enemies and triggers socketed Spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when you dodge roll and triggers socketed spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when you Freeze, Shock, or Ignite enemies, and triggers socketed spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when you Freeze enemies and triggers socketed spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when you Ignite enemies and triggers socketed spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when one of your Persistent Minions is Killed, and triggers socketed Spells upon reaching maximum Energy. Very underlevelled Minions will incur an Energy generation penalty. Cannot socket Spells which create Minions.

While active, gains Energy when you Shock enemies and triggers socketed spells on reaching maximum Energy.

While active, gains Energy when you Freeze, Shock or Ignite an enemy. Using the Invocation once sufficient Energy is gathered will consume the Energy to trigger socketed Spells, and can trigger them multiple times if it has enough Energy.

Shapeshift into a Bear and roar in defiance, immediately gaining Rage if there are enemies nearby and Empowering subsequent Attacks to Break Armour. Alternatively, socketing a human-form Warcry into this Skill triggers that Warcry instead, and augments its damage and area. This Skill's cooldown can be bypassed by expending an Endurance Charge.

Dash to an enemy and Strike them, triggering socketed Marks with increased effect and applying socketed Curses with increased duration.

Channel to create fleeting images of your astral self near the target location. The images perform a Socketed Melee Attack once then vanish, targeting the closest enemy if possible. The images cannot perform Channelled Skills or Conditional Skills. Consuming a Power Charge creates additional images.

While active, dodge rolling will create a Mirage that uses socketed ranged Attacks for a short duration, then vanish.

While active, firing a ranged Projectile Attack will create a Mirage that uses socketed ranged Attacks for a short duration, then vanish.

Shapeshift into a Werewolf and leap to a target location, damaging enemies in an area around where you land. Predator's Mark will be Triggered targeting the highest Rarity enemy Hit, or if a Mark gem is socketed into this Skill, that Mark will be Triggered instead. Using this Skill allows any Wolf Minions you have to leap immediately.

While active, gains Energy when you kill an enemy with a Melee Attack. Using the Invocation once sufficient Energy is gathered will consume the Energy to trigger socketed Spells, and can trigger them multiple times if it has enough Energy.

Consume any combination of 3 Power and/or Endurance Charges to raise a Totem that uses socketed Spells. Cannot use Skills with Cooldowns.

While active, gains Energy when you cast Spells. Using the Invocation once sufficient Energy is gathered will consume the Energy to trigger socketed Spells, and can trigger them multiple times if it has enough Energy.

While active, gains Energy when you Hit enemies with Melee Attacks and triggers socketed Lightning spells on reaching maximum Energy.
