Omen of Homogenising Coronation

Activate this legacy Omen before a Regal Orb when the new modifier should share a tag with a modifier already on the Magic item.

Valid target

A Magic item with an open modifier slot and an eligible modifier that matches at least one tag on a current modifier.

Consumes and changes

Consumes the active Omen and one Regal Orb, retains the current modifiers, and upgrades the item to Rare.

Result

Adds one eligible modifier matching any one tag on the item's current modifiers. This is tag matching, not a guarantee of the same prefix or suffix side.

Probability

Depends on item state. The result depends on the union of eligible modifiers matching the current modifier tags. The sources do not publish one static percentage.

Risk

The action fails when no eligible modifier has a matching tag. If current modifiers have no tags, the Omen is consumed and the Regal Orb adds a random modifier.

Use or save

Inspect the actual modifier tags before use. A shared tag can permit several different modifier families and does not target one named modifier.

How to get it

It can no longer drop. Existing copies remain functional legacy items.

Introduced in 0.3.0 and disabled from dropping in 0.4.0. Existing copies still function.
