Valid target

The character's next death that would lose experience while the Omen is active in the inventory.

Consumes and changes

Consumes the active Omen on the qualifying death.

Result

Prevents 75% of the experience loss that the death would otherwise apply.

Probability

Known selection rule. The prevention amount is the fixed 75% of the applicable experience loss.

Risk

It does not prevent death or all experience loss. Only one combat Omen can be consumed per instance.

Use or save

Carry it when retaining experience is more valuable than reserving the instance's combat-Omen trigger for another effect.

How to get it

It can appear as a reward in Ritual.

In a Map Device area, the normal death loss is 10% of the experience required for the current level. This Omen prevents 75% of that loss, leaving 2.5%. Calculate the resulting experience progress.
